The Children’s Development Educational Changing Trust (CDECT) is a registered non-profit organization committed to creating long-term, sustainable impact in the lives of children, youth, women, and underserved communities across India. Founded on the principles of dignity, equality, and opportunity, the Trust operates at the intersection of education, health, sanitation, digital empowerment, and social justice.
We believe that every child, regardless of their socio-economic background, deserves access to quality education, safe hygiene facilities, clean drinking water, and a nurturing environment to grow into a confident and capable citizen. Through partnerships with government bodies, CSR partners, NGOs, and local communities, CDECT implements innovative, high-impact programs across urban and rural regions—most notably in Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

School Sanitation & Hygiene: Construction and maintenance of toilets, menstrual hygiene education, and handwashing awareness in government schools and hostels under Swachh Vidyalaya and WASH guidelines.
Digital Empowerment: Recruitment of computer trainees, establishment of school-level computer labs, and delivery of foundational IT skills.
Girls’ Safety & Self-Defence: Training schoolgirls in self-protection, personal safety, and gender sensitization to create safer learning spaces.
Clean Water for Every School: Installation of RO plants and safe drinking water stations to eliminate waterborne diseases.
Sanipreneur SHG Empowerment: Formation and development of Self-Help Groups for sanitation workers with capacity-building and linkage to NSKFDC financial support.
Health & Disaster Relief: Delivering support during crises such as COVID-19, cyclones, and floods—including food, clothing, medical aid, and sanitary supplies.
